As part of my career advancement journey, I decided to start the Cloud Resume Challenge to increase my chances at landing a Cloud Engineer role. This is the first of a series of blog posts about the process.

For a long time, I wanted to have a presence sensor that could see if I was lying on my bed. But never quite found what I needed, until now. I’ll show you how I managed to make a usable bed (and chair!) sensor for cheap with easy-to-get parts and no soldering.
